I've researched this, and found that a lot of third party applications that try to handle Clipboard copy+paste can toggle system permissions pertaining to these actions. It also disables the ability to drag files from a stack (like the downloads stack) on the dock. Zazu changes permissions on my mac namely, it locks my dock making it impossible to move/drag/reorder any apps or icons currently viewable in the dock.
